Carrot Cake is an independent film exploring the strange way small moments can become epic in your memory. It’s built from the kind of night you never forget.
Built with a small creative team and a lot of heart, the film blends observational comedy with a personal, character-driven story about friendship, restlessness, and the gravitational pull of a diner booth.
Set in and around Syracuse, New York, the story follows four lifelong friends whose plan to grab food and play a board game becomes something else entirely — the kind of night that, years later, only one of them remembers correctly.
A Note from the Filmmaker
“Carrot Cake is a story I’ve wanted to tell for years.”
It’s inspired by slightly real events from my own life — and the strange way small moments can become epic in your memory. It’s relatable, chaotic, emotional, and built from the kind of night you never forget.
